The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience in both manual and automated testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software products and services
- Identify and document software defects and collaborate with development teams to resolve them
- Conduct functional, integration, regression, and performance testing to ensure the quality of software products and services
- Design and maintain automated testing frameworks and test suites
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure software products and services meet customer requirements and quality standards
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on design and quality issues
- Perform risk assessments and identify potential areas of software quality improvement
- Document and report testing results and defects to management and stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in software quality assurance and testing, with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium or Appium
- Familiarity with software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with software development languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript is a plus
- Knowledge of testing mobile applications and web applications is a plus
